The Past, part 1
This is truly an odd land. The lands here are always changing, due to something called 'probability storms'. These storms attack everyone, no one is left untouched. They may take away your ability to breathe, take you from your home and place you on the other side of the island. Anything is possible with these storms, the outcome is nearly never good, through.
The two-legs once lived here, for hundreds of years actually. They all left when the biggest probability storm to hit Igneous, formally known as Orokos. No one knows where they all went, but a city of millions disappeared within an hour.
The barriers that had been holding Igneous in for so many years have been destroyed in the front of the island, the rest have miraculously stayed standing.
The Past, part 2
A large ship honks its' horn as it approaches a seemingly desolate island. Its cargo has been aboard seventeen days past their drop-off date, and the animals have begun to get restless.
The ship was lost at see during a large storm, which to these humans was just a misfortune, but really, it was something more. The island was lonesome now, without the humans it once had to pick on gone.
The captain was willing to do anything to drop his load. Seeing his chance, he drove the boat towards the island, and he and his crew unloaded the horses, one by one.
The Present
There had been thirty-two horses on-board the ship.
When they were dropped off, the younger horses instantly left to play in the city ruins, forests, or the beach. However, the older horses remained on the beach. Awaiting the return of their owners.
Over the years, the island became a constant drop-off site for neglected, abused, or simply unwanted horses. The island was large however, so most of them took no notice of the new residents.
The probability storms continued, through. No one knew how to stop them. The horses generally got used to the tragedy. Herds were popping up over the land now, and life is finally starting to settle in.[/center]
